Hi,
We are in the process of organising our first four nights in Auckland and have found the above hotel for about £40 per night. Has anyone stayed at the hotel before or heard anything about it? Any info would be greatly appreciated :nice1

Hi there,
stayed at the quadrant on numerous occasions for work purposes. The hotel is perfectly adequate, clean and central and gives the impression of being quite trendy . One small drawback is that it is a walk down and therefore quite a steep walk back from queen st. The rooms are on the small side but relatively well equipped but probably slightly more business stay orientated than family, there is not much in the way of onsite facilities from memory. Overall you would probably be doing pretty well for the room rate quoted given that it is central (very)and its proximity to some very upmarket hotels.

Hello
I have stayed there once for a conference and loved the place. Is indeed trendy place but new, clean and next to the Hyatt. Within a few minutes you are on Queen street and is in a quiet area.
Cheers

We stayed there when we first arrived. It's very trendy and a close (steep walk back) to town. Good value. Check for price deals on-line though

Brilliant - thanks very much guys! We are only in Auckland for four days before heading down to Hawke's Bay so think I will just bite the bullet and book it today!!

In that area, the food halls - multi-kitchens around a communal no frills dining area, so everyone in the party can order their food from a different outlet (different country's cuisine, too) if they like. You could go there for weeks and never get through all the possibilities.:nice1 Very good, and very reasonable!
