Just thought I would introduce myself and say hi. My family and I are looking seriously into moving to NZ in the next 1-2 yrs from the USA. I just spent 2 weeks over there and loved it and work opportunities look good. Originally from UK many yrs ago.

Thanks for all the replies. I am gathering this is a pretty active forum. Does any one live in or know anything about Palmerston North? This was not an area I looked at whilst I was in NZ. Looking for any info including weather, size, suitability for family?

Welcome to the forum! :) Whereabouts are you in the States? John Cleese has a particularly intense dislike for Palmy North... ;) (google it, they got their revenge :laugh )

I've only stopped off once in it, that was it, I'm afraid. The central square is nice. :D
