Im looking at buying a car when I get to Welly.

I want something reliable and not too expensive. Can anyone recommend soemthing, or somewhere to "look". Have checked out trademe - but I dont recognise any of the cars and the shallow brit in me thinks thy are ugly! :exit

I believe that the jap cars are cheapest and as we all know very reliable. hopefully a member that lives there will be along soon

We've driven Subaru's for the past 6 years and certainly won't change from manufacturer when we get to NZ.

We had an Impreza for 2.5 years and have had our Forester for 3.5 years. Personally we think they're great... the reliability is superb and build quality is excellent. We'll more than likely go for a turbo version of the Forester or Impreza when we get to NZ... happy car hunting :D
