I have a quick question. I have begun my EOI and it asks for relevant qualifications although I notice for the UK it does not mention nurse training as a 'recognised qualification'. I am halfway through my application for nurse registration and wondered if I can submit my EOI without this registation number and add that information at a later date.
I do not want to delay with the EOI as my husband is about to apply for a job.
Thanks.

Who is the principal applicant? If it is your OH then you don't need to worry but if it is you then you would put down your diploma/degree as recognised qualification. You would only need to put your NZ nurse registration down if you are claiming points for a job offer (I think). :)

We had this problem too as OH had a job offer and we needed to move quick-ish, and whilst I am a registered nurse I qualified a very long time ago, in an old school of nursing, with a straight RGN, no degree. I couldn't find any part of the EOI where I could submit my qualifications without either a registration number or going through NZQA. Fortunately hubby was able to just about reach the 100 points without needing my registration number because otherwise we could have had problems since the nurse registration took about 3 months to come through.
Could you email the NZNC and ask how the registration is progressing? Maybe give them a gentle "hurry up" nudge ?. Good luck with it.
