The Ponies here (so we are called in the U.S.). My husband Brandon lived in Wellington for a year on holiday. He came back Stateside after his father passed away...we got hitched...and then he took me to NZ for the honeymoon! I fell in love with it too, and now we're in the process of trying to become residents. The housing market in the U.S. is tough right now, so I think our biggest hurdle is going to be selling our current place.

Just a little about us...We own a money pit condo in Orlando, Florida...Brandon's nickname is "Ponyboy" (don't ask; long story). He's a musician and he works on the Geek Squad. Me? I work in financial aid for Full Sail University. I enjoy long walks on the beach, throwing garbage out the window (kidding), and watching pandas that practice kung fu!

We have loads of questions to ask! Now on to the next thread!

How do you like living in Texas? Brandon lived in a place called Bay City when he was younger. Its somewhere south east of Houston.

We are in Amarillo, Texas. Before moving here a year ago we lived in Dallas. I love it here in Texas. Have been here three years now, but we are also looking forward to moving back to New Zealand. All my family are in New Zealand and I have certainly missed them.

brandon here. I remember Texas was hot. I remember the school system being very strange, and by that I mean the teachers and their...methods. I have a vivid memory of being in the 6th grade...our gym coach said "if you cant look straight down, without bending over, and see your &**#, then you're too fat!" And then he proceeded to have us do military style forward rolls out on the football field. For real. True story.
