Has anyone had trouble texting in NZ?
(apart from the pathological desire to put punctuation in! :p )
Many of my texts go astray or turn up very late, or I get texts 3 hours after they were sent. It seems to be a recent problem.
I'm just on a simple pay-as-you-go Vodaphone set up.
Cheers

It does happen with Vodafone - vodafone on occasion, but most probs I have found occur cross network, ie when you text vodafone - telecom.

Similar problems here on Vodafone PAYG, especially texting across networks but its intermittent.

We're on vodafone and have to say the only time we've had any real problems with texts was when OH was in Auckland - maybe dodgy reception?? :o

do those who notice this problem have a phone they brought with them from UK or elsewhere? because I had this problem with Vodafone, and finally brought an NZ phone and now no problems at all. turns out there is a slight difference in some of the overseas phones in the MHZ and the phone was looking for a reception signal that is not too common in NZ.
might be the problem?
