Since our plans to visit NZ in March is firm, we contacted our case officer in Chch and told her that we will be in town.
She has asked us to meet her for an interview on Friday, March 18 at NZIS in Christchurch!
I will post the kind of questions she asked here after the interview.
Cheers

Has anyone here had a face to face interview with NZIS?

Shagen,
I did face to face interview here. The questions would be more likely such as
1. why nz?
2. what would you do as soon as you arrive in NZ?
3. what is your plan?
4. since we have migrated from Indonesia to USA for 9 years, he asked me how was the overcome on that?
5. do you have any relatives/friends?
6. What kind of media did you use for research about NZ?
and some more, but I don't remember...
good luck though

Xanctus,
What ws the mood of the interview? Cold? Warm? Friendly? Informal? Formal?
Do they tell you the outcome of the interview soon after the interview?
Hmmmm... so many questions again!

The mood defnately was quite formal but yet very friendly and warm.
No, he did not tell me the outcome after the interview. I still have to wait the final decision from London office. (note: I was interviewed in USA)
