I have been closely following the posts of some of the members, who got a WTR instead of a PR as they did not have a job offer. I have a similar situation. I have submitted my ITA with 110 points and no job offer. My question is if I am given a WTR, can i travel alone to New Zealand without my partner and children, who are part of my ITA? Can i get them to New Zealand after settling in a job? Do i need to submit a fresh ITA to include my family members at a latter date and once again go through the long process of submitting the ITA?

I also in the same situation. Once I get the job offer confirmation, I will apply for a WTR permit, I will go ahead to NZ first, after settling only will bring my family over. Is that any issue? Should I apply any permit for them before I go or I can apply later while I am in NZ.
Please advice.

I can see no reason why you couldn't arrive in NZ on your own to secure a job. AFAIK, you don't go back through the PR process as you have already done it, instead if you find a job, your WTR is replaced with a PR.
The problem that I can see is that NZIS will want to do all the changes to your passports from the same office, so if everyone isn't in the country together then I'm not sure how they would handle this?
I would ask these questions of your case officer should you be given the WTR option.

This isn't the same situation as you will be directly applying for a WTR instead of a PR.
You will apply for a WTR visa, I would also apply for the rest of the family at the same time e.g. general work visa for the OH and student visas for the children. This is the least complicated option and if there was a problem e.g. medical issues then you will know about it up front before you try to make a go of it in NZ.
