Do the majority of rentals come with white goods like washing machine/ fridge/tumble drier etc?

I'd like to bring a decent front loading washer over, for example, but we only intend to rent rather than buy a home....so not much point if there is already one in the rental that we can' remove.

Yes they do come with some white goods and it does sort of depend on the rental. I would expect to see a cooker and a dishwasher but everything else is more optional.

If you already have the fridge, washing machine etc then I would bring them with you, the likelyhood is that you will need them.

Even if you don't then you can either, swap them out and put them back when you leave the rental, or sell them in NZ. Or, you may just store them until needed in your next rental?

Unlikely that you will have anything other than cooker and dishwasher, so bring them.

I brought a washing machine and tumble dryer from the UK but my rental has new cooker, new dishwasher, new fridge, newish front loading wm and newish td - my own stuff is sitting in the garage now still wrapped!

Apartements are more likely to have washing machine/tumbler dryer....but if you are renting a house they tend to only have cooker and dishwasher.

Our rental house have just a cooker, nothing else.
