Hi everyone

I was just wondering if anyone on this forum had their skills/quals assessed by NZQA and were claiming points for a qualification in an area of absolute skills shortage.

I'm just interested to know how much detail they give you in the full assessment report. for example, do you just get a level, say level 8 on the register OR
do they go into a bit more detail about the content of your course in order to compare it to a local course

Thank you

Hi there...

My husband has his qualification assessed for these points... all that came back on the full assessment, was the level it was assessed as being comparable with... i.e. level 8 on the register... We did have to supply his certificate plus a full transcript of the course (post grad qualification in IT) plus his degree certificate and transcript, and then evidence of his school qualifications...

Hope that helps! and good luck :D
