I haven't got my final medical report done yet, but my doctor called to tell me that there was some scarring on one of my lungs. :uhoh
Does this just mean NZIS will want to see the X-ray films or should I plan for additional tests to send along with the ITA?
My doctor thought a TB skin test would be good as back up material and also recommended a followup X-ray in 6-8 weeks (after I planned on submitting my ITA --:o)
What else is NZIS likely to want?
I didn't think anything other than my BMI was likely to pop up. :wah

sorry to hear your news I had a bit of a scare on xray but they repeated it and all was ok - it was a real shock at the time and delayed sending things off . what Gp has suggested sounds good to me . best of luck

We had the same thing with my daughter - the xray showed some scarring that could have been caused by TB. She's never had it so we were ok about it. Before the doctor would sign it off she had to have another blood test and a heaf (skin) test. The results combined with a letter from a chest specialist sorted the problem. Still cost us an extra £300 !!!!!
