Hello all a small intro
We arrived 1 year ago from Manchester and are now residing in sunny Tauranga, we did post a few times when applying for residency but i lost all that info (whoops bad me) So theres me John , kimberley and 3 kids.
Travelled Nz on my own for a couple of months before kimberley and the kids came out to find work and and a place to live so we werent dragging the kids around and found here idyllic, Wellington (nah) Auckland(nah) but i loved wahiki island , Hamilton (nah) and even Gisborne (way too quiet after Manchester) Never fancied south island as we wanted the warmer side. Hope i havent offended anyone with that but its all personal choice and opinion which will always differ from others but the important thing is my wife feels i made the right choice(ffffeeewww) so maybe will chat to a few and love to hear other peoples views (and advice)
john , kimberley and kids 11,6 and 1 (funny names but we like em)

Hello Jandk,
Good choice! Tauranga is in the East of the island, as a result it has lower level of precipitations, if only you don't like rainy climate.
