Whoopee. :raebanana :raebanana :raebanana :raebanana First job I went for and I got it. Went to Adecco the agency on Thursday am - they had an interview for me Thursday pm. Called to find out on Friday if I was successful but no feed-back from the company by then.

I got a call at 8:30pm last night (a Sunday :eek ) to say I should report for work at 8:30 am Monday (the next day :eek ) if I wanted it. I had 12 hours notice before I started work :eek :eek :eek .

My head is absolutely spinning tonight. The not so good thing is that I'm being shown the ropes by a temp who's been there a month - so we'll see how it goes. $31k for an admin/accounts job if anybody is interested.

Wow Sandra that's great news, hope you've enjoyed your 1st week and are now chilling in the sun over the weekend :cheers Good turnout from Adecco - I worked at their Manchester Deansgate and Altrincham offices about 9 years ago! Good feeling to get some extra dollars coming in to help with the renovation costs.

Best of luck

Haven't had much chance for chilling in the sun this weekend - plus it's rained most of the day :no . Have to catch up with housework now that I'm a working girl again :wah

Plus we're expecting Rimbo around lunch time tomorrow :clap so had to sort his room out and clear out the boxes etc. still hanging around. I'm really looking forward to seeing somebody else from the forum.
