Hey Walshy,

Because you have a job offer, you may hear faster than those whom have no job offer. NZIS tends to get those with job offers accomidated (sp) much faster. We were selected the beginning of June and are still waiting. LOL

Ours was sent to the London Branch and it says that with a job it would be done with in 10 days... with out a job up to 4 months.

OH does not have a job (yet) he going on a 2 week reccie on the last 2 weeks of August so hes now applying for jobs so im hoping he gets one as we plan to go out to NZ around November (i hope), we only have 120 points and not a lot of funds so a job offer would be great :D

I called NZIS a few weeks ago regarding the "10 days". She wanted to know where I had heard about the 10 day thing, and I said on the website. She informed me that if you are applying for PR from outside of the country it could take up to 3 months for them to go through the EOI. It was quite a dissappointment to hear. Sorry folks, back to the never ending waiting game. :(

Hi Leanne
I would have thought with 190 points and job offer that you would have had your ITA by now, hopefully someone on the forum can give you an idea when because for what i understand 140 points and above with job offer are dealt with first or ive just read it wrong (hope not).
Good luck and hopefully you get your ITA soon

I wouldn't worry about the job offer too much at this stage .... the ITA should arrive in next couple of days and will outline what you need to do
(and you can still achieve PR without a job offer.)

Things that cost money/take time/or have timescales that you need to consider are:
the NZQA (if required for qualifications)
the police checks,
and of course the medicals

Best of luck...it does all become clear in the end!
