Ok, this is going to seem like a stupid question, be afraid!! :D

We never thought we would be in the position we are in now, of having been selected, de-selected, selected, approved, and now awaiting our ITA bundle. All of this is without a job offer, and that's where I've gone word blind from trying to work out the logistics on the NZIS site.

Your starter for 10:

As there isn't a job offer attached to my ITA how does that affect my obtaining a job, ie does this mean I can apply for just about any job?

As I'm applying under the sm category, due to my qualifications but not my job category being listed, if I do have to have a job offer to obtain residence and not WTR, does it have to be in line with my EOI skill?

(See what I mean about going around in circles?)

I'm cold, fed up of being cold and confused of Kaiapoi, please help me if you can  :D

In my understanding, if you get a job offer to boost the points on your PR application then it will have to be relevant to your qualification. (or work experience, but I take it thats not appropriate in you case)

The 1st part - You have been selected with the points you had at the time. If successful, you can apply for any job as residence comes with a work permit all in - mine was the same.
2nd part - can't help, but if you are already getting an ITA, why do you need a job offer?
