Well, that's the Application for PR off to NZ House in London today!

Oh man!

The flat is coming together (not that there was that much to do), but interestingly there are 2 others for sale on our street now: family's expanding etc etc, so a third one for sale will add spice to the pot! May the best one win!

Aberdeen's not so bad wrt prices going down as such, but things have definitely slowed. Whatever happens we will be quids in as we will get 3 times what we paid for it 6 years ago.... but you still want as much as possible to cushion yourself when you land in NZ.

Now, if only Mr Granite could get himself a job!

Wish us luck folks!

Oh, by the way, I didnt get responses from 2 ex-employers to back up my word experience claim. Mind you, that was in 1985-86 BTS, and 1990-93 MOD, but it shouldnt affect my points outcome as I still have 19 plus years with back up!

Does anyone know how long London are taking to assess PR applications just now?

Good luck.
NZIS have had our paperwork for about two weeks now, it was checked over quickly and there was just one query which was easily rectified. Hubbie does have a job that starts in August.

Hi Granite, we're at similar stages. Our medicals have been sent for comment so we're expecting a (hopefully short) delay there, house went up for sale a fortnight ago, and we're a bit in limbo.... and we thought the earlier part was like a roller coaster.... bring on those highs and lows!!!!!!!!! Also in (central) Scotland, so hoping to avoid the level of difficulty facing those South of the Border - I sooooooooo feel for everyone trying to sell at the minute. Anyway, good luck and keep us posted! :nice1

Hi there - I noticed your name before and wondered if you were from the granite city. I moved up there when I met my OH and we spent 8 years there before fleeing to slightly sunnier climes for a while. Good luck with selling your flat. Actually - I'm going to PM you ...
