Hello,

We (Me, my wife and 2 y.o daughter) are coming over for our recce trip in the middle of October for just over 2 weeks. We are going to Waiheke island, Hamilton, New Plymouth, Taupo & Rotorua. I'm wondering what sort of spring weather/ temperatures to be prepared for. Any advice would be gratefully received,

This is New zealand - we have weather - lots of it! Expect it to be springlike summerlike winterlike autumnlike. Best thing is to wear layers. :)

Well, we've changed our recce itinery. We're not going to Taranaki now, Waiheke to visit family,an extra day in Hamilton for a meeting with a prospective employer (yipee). Over to Rotorua, then a week in Mount Maunganui we've managed to rent a nice beachfront apartment.

Hi Stuart, it sounds like you're a man with a plan :D I expect the weather will be a little warmer than it currently is but probably still quite wet.
