Hi,

I can't believe we're leaving tomorrow :-). after all this work and excitement we are drained and I don't even fel too excited anymore... it'll come back on he plane..

One of te first things I want to do is get a Sim-card for my mobile.

Which mobile phone provider do you recommend? I heard Vodafone is good, bu is there anything else as well? Anything we should be aware of?

my friend told me there are only two providers really. Vodafone and telecom or something. He said most of his friends all use vodafone etc and ofcourse i will be using them as I am buying an iphone 3g on arrival

Telecom currently doesn't use SIM cards since they are CDMA instead of GSM. They are currently working on a new GSM network due to be online around November. At that point there will be some competition, for now Vodafone is the only GSM provider in NZ.
