On the form (NZ 1012) it asks at question H10:
Have you attached evidence that your legal guardian usually cares for you in your home country?
What have people used for this as I have spoken to NZIS and they are saying things like school fees ( we don't pay any!), medical fees etc (we don't pay again), and as I said we normally find anything from education authorities etc come address to "The parents of".
Really a little stumped on this one!

Could you ask the child's school to let you have a copy of that part of the child's official file which records you as the legal guardian? And the same thing would appear in the medical records, probably.

From the guide form 1013
You must provide evidence that your legal guardian usually cares for you in your home country, such as:
• documents that show they have paid for your education
• educational records or documents that show they are responsible for your education
• your legal guardian’s passport or residency document to show that you have been living with them in your home country.
Can't you just use a copy of your passport which you would have to send in anyway?

Got a letter on headed paper from the school today confirming who the guardiands are and where we all live, hoping this is okay. Passports no longer show addresses.

Same problem with us (no address on passports) and schools now shut for hols!!!?

By the way "WE ARE THEIR PARENTS!!!"

We took our forms to London yesterday to finish filling out the children's visa forms. When I mentioned this section they said basically they are not worried about that for the ages of our child (she's 5). I did have copies of child benefit though.
