I am thinking of shipping my computer (Mac G5 tower, speakers and monitor) to NZ from the US. This would be the only item that I will be shipping. Can anyone suggest the best way to ship something like this? Any idea on costs?

Honestly, for the cost of shipping your pc you may be better off just selling it and buying a new one when you get to NZ. DHL will probably be cheaper than FedEx, and I would definitely choose either one before I'd choose USPS. YOu can get shipping quotes online at the carrier's website.

I was going to send my G5 via post to New Zealand however once I looked at the cost of decent shipping, packaging, insurance etc plus the fact that they throw those parcels around like you would not believe! so probably have to claim on that insurance anyway
So I just ended up selling it and buying myself a recond macbook black from Apple. Which I love
