Yesterday I opened up my email and found a message saying that my WTR visa application has been approved! Only took 3 weeks (with a tiny medical issue thrown in there). Still waiting for the ITA thing to happen though.

I handed in my resignation yesterday. I didn't even shed a tear! I finish up work on Aug 1...I put a countdown up on the wall at work.

After all the work that it has taken to get this far, I realized that there is still alot more left to do. Anybody interested in a house in Canada? At least the market is good here and should be sold in a couple of weeks.

Planning on leaving for NZ in September. I can hardly wait to get there!

I did send an email a couple of days ago to the EOI Team to see what the status of my EOI was. I got an email this morning from my visa officer saying she sent me an email on June 2 and hadn't heard back from. Don't I wish I had actually gotten that email! That timeline does make alot more sense and hopefully I'll have an ITA coming to me shortly.

My passport with a pretty blue visa got delivered yesterday. It's my last day of work tomorrow...and they promised me cake. Flights are booked out for Sept 11. The whole house has to get emptied, so I'm busy putting little price tags on everything. Having the gargae sale in 10 days, but I've been having all of my friends come over and start emptying out the place, because everything has got to go.

Now...if only the house would sell. :roll
