Waiting again!

EOI submitted on Wednesday, only to be returned because I forgot to put in our xray reports - doh!

Resubmitted on Monday.

I notice that the nzis page has changed to EOI submitted, and pr visa lodged (no date beside that yet).

What do we look out for next?

Will we hear from our assigned officer, or if it goes straight thru will that just change to whatever?

Mr Granite still job hunting, so as we dont have a job offer yet, I assume we will have to troggle all the way to London town for an interview......

Just how many times a day/night checking the website can you do before it counts as OCD!

Hi Grey Granite

its now a question of just sitting tight and waiting I'm afraid.

You will eventually get an acknowlegment letter but as you have no job offer it is unlikely that you will have a case officer assigned but if you do their details will appear in the letter.

How quickly things happen depend on how many points you have (as you don't have a job offer) but if one comes along in the meantime fax it through to them and they will reprioritise your application. Also if you ahve a job offer and your ITA is in progress, make sure you get the original signed copies of the contract and job description (as well as the offer letter) since your visa officer is likely to want to see those.

What you will probably see happen next on the website is that your medical certificates are logged as receieved with a date that will also probably change...this is normal.

If the medical certificate was straight forward (i.e. no abnormalities found) the site will eventually say Full medical, a date and status received. (Don't worry this date can chage severtal times too!)

The interview will be a phone interview.

Best of luck, and I know it's hard but sit tight.
