Hi, I've applied for PR in Auckland under SMC with points for experience in LTSSL in a comparable labor market. I also have a valid degree in the same field.

I was on a short term work permit/visa 3 months, due to which my points for a job offer where taken away when I received my ITA. Since then my work visa has been renewed for 3 more months and looks I might get a year's contract.

Long story short, EOI got selected, received the ITA within a week and submitted it, at the end of June. I know it can take upto 6 months or more and calling NZIS regularly isn't going to help.

I guess I should just be patient and wait. It was exciting while the EOI and ITA went through real fast. Refreshing the website again n again can be disappointing. :(

Any advice on the timeline for applying for PR here in Auckland from experience. I do have a CO and my Application status says pending with the date lodged. I understand it has been sent for assessment.

Any advice is welcome..... :)

No direct experience to share, but from what I've seen of other people's stories, the waiting period is as long as a piece of string, i.e. anybody's guess.:o The only comfort to offer is that you're not alone, and everybody feels that awful aching itch to be at the end of it all.
