Well it's been an intresting couple of weeks, had bood tests last week and mine came back with abnormal liver function:uhoh. So had to follow up with a hep C test and a further LFT, LFT still not in normal levels but going down. Doc thinks the raised levels where due to my lads weekend at the British GP (a tip for any occational drinkers -- don't go on a drinking weekend 3 days prior to your blood tests--!!!) he has put this in his report so finger crossed the MA will ok my report and not ask for any further tests. Xrays today where fine (i had convinced myself that these would be abnormal as well). So now with a fair wind we shoud have all the required info so next week i'm off to London to submit in person and start the next round of waiting.

When you say LFT was abnormal.....what were the results. I had one reading slightly elevated (as the Doc put it) and am about to submit my ITA, so was wondering if I will get a knock back for it.

I had two very slightly elevated levels ALT and Gamma GT and my doc wrote in his report "no medical significance" particulary as my second test showed the levels reducing. However, even if slighlty elevated the doc can not tick the normal box so has to tick the abnormal. It will then be up to the MA to decide if he/she is happy with your doc's comments. You may (as i may) be asked to have further tests. I did a precautionary hep C as my doc said that is the most likley additional test they would ask for. Fingers crossed for the both of us.
