Hiyall,

I am sure this has been asked before so sorry in advance for the post and I WILL use the search soon as I have done this......

We are sending out our ITA to London via Royal Mail special delivery. We are posting with it a pre-weighed, paid, addressed, special delivery bag for London office to put our orig certs & passports in & shove it in the post back to us.

Is this a good plan???
What did you do?

we sent our recorded delivery. As there are no valuable being sent i.e. money etc. It still has to be signed for by NZIS.

We then included an A4 self addressed, prepaid recorded delivery envelope with the pack.

Hope this helps.

Hi,
We did the same as Jo but insured it for loss ie if it got lost we'd be covered for the cost of reissuing of documents enclosed ... after all your life is in the envelope .. passports original certs original med certs which would have to be repeated. BTW it cost £11 for the insurance!

We sent certified true copies of everything so did not worry about getting them back.

I paid £4 approx for a plastic special delivery envelope that I put in with my application for them to send docs back in
Cheers
