Well, I hope you know where that is, since I met a lot of Italians and Austrians who think that we are somewhere in France :laugh
I've started thinking to move to NZ already a couple of years ago, but since I haven't finished my college at that time I "postponed" my idea. Points indicator wasn't too promising. It looks fine now, but while reading your posts I became a bit :uhoh You would probably say as "There's no such thing as free lunch"...
Why did I choose NZ? Hmm, it seems there a only a few countries in the world that offer beautiful mountains, lakes and sea. And I suppose living without mountains would not worth it for me. But I cannot imagine to work such a IT job in such a system as it is here for another 30 years until I can retire without any savings.
People here often think that I want to move, because I want to become rich there in NZ, but this is not the reason. I would only like to have a decent job (later in agriculture business if possible) with system which works (medical, educative, etc), let's say that I know what I am paying taxes for, less stressful and in a community which is not crazy for status simbols as new cars and expensive houses. I would also like to offer more promising future to my 2 kids what is not the matter here in SLO.
I did my first step yesterday with submitting a pre-assesment of my bachelor(diploma) to NZQA, I suppose it is better to be clear with points, before giving away next 200 EUR.
Regards
