Just a question:
if you're claiming 10 bonus points for partner's qual. (let's keep it easy and say you both have Bachelors from recognized colleges, the prinicpal in Nursing and the spouse in English), all you have to show NZIS with regards the spouse's English BA is the degree certificate. Right?
That is, in terms of paperwork returned with application, you don't HAVE to include anything about the spouse's WORK at all. (It might not hurt your app. or interview if the spouse is in fairly skilled work and you show them that, but all NZIS are formally interested in is the spouse degree certificate so you can claim the 10 bonus points.)

Correct? Another of today's threads got me thinking about this. Might be useful to sanity-check that we're all on the same page.

Cheers,
Matt.

AFAIK. I received 10 points for my wife's BS degree and all I'm sending is a degree certification letter from her school.

The thing that got us was that my case officer demanded a NZQA assessment right off the bat. I don't know why, but if everyone has B.A.s all around, you'll get the 50+ points no matter what hoops you have to go through. They don't like the words "certifcate" or "diploma" that's what threw up the red flags and started this whole ball of confusion. Anyone filling out forms, make sure you read every single word of that LONG instruction booklet, because the slightest slip up could cause a lot of headaches.
