Hi!
I've got my Work Visa form, and wondered if anyone could give me some advice? Does anyone have any idea how quickly this could be processed in London, and would my wife have to submit a family visa for herself & our daughter at the same time or once we are in NZ?
Many thanks

My one with an accredited employer (so no employment checks for the employer to do) took a week door to door including a weekend.

Normally you would submit all the visa applications at the same time so that they are all processed together.
Not sure what you mean by a family visa? Normally it would be a work visa for your wife and a student visa(s) for your child(ren) assuming they are old enough to attend school.

OH applied for WTR. We did submit his prior to me and the rest of the family purely because of being worried about him not getting it (would have been too expense for us all to have medical ect. for it not to work out). Anyhow, I enquired with NZIS as to what myself and DD's would need, they are aged 5, 4 and 21 months). This is what I was advised to complete:
For me:
1015 - Applications to Work in NZ
1016 - Guide for above visa
1146 - For Partners supporting partnership-based temporary entry
For 5yr old:
1012 - Student Visa Application
1013 - Guide for above visa
For 4yo and 21 mth:
1017 - Visitors Visa
1018 - Guide for above visa
We took all our visa applications to London this morning. They are already linking them to my OH's application and I believe they have allocated them to his case officer in order to keep continuity.

Sorry, I should also clarify that I don't currently work and won't be for a couple of years yet, but was still required to apply for the work visa.

Thanks everyone for your help, makes it a bit easier. My daughter is only 2, so that helps with which visa to choose for her. Probably take a trip to London after the the October recce when I've met prospective employers and had interviews.
Thanks again.
