I am busy completing my work visa application form and question A23 asks "The arrangement I have made for my outward travel from NZ is ? " Not sure what sure what to put for this as I am not intending to return to uk once my Pr has been approved. I have a job offer to go to in Sept.
Thanks

In my WTR visa I was adviced to put "I intend to gain residence", however as this is a work visa you will have a finite time so you may have to put two years from your estimated time of entry I suspect. Call Auckland if you can, they are very very helpful.

I haven't submitted my work visa form yet but I've put this "I will book flights when needed". Do you think this will do?

That's what I'll write unless I hear otherwise before I send it off tomorrow.
Thanks

I think that we will now put "I will book flights when neccesary. I'm planning on applying for PR within my allocated work visa time."

I wrote something like I had applied for PR and was planning on being in NZ permanently. When my application was accepted I was told that it was not required that I have a return ticket.

Thanks Leanne - that sounds like a sensible solution and it's good to know that you don't need a return ticket too.

No problem Greenchilli. And you should get that visa back fairly quick.

Let's hope so Leanne. We are due to go on holiday to France on the 13th Aug and I have a week to wait for my Medical results to return then I can submit my application and hope that it gets back before I am due to need my passport to enter France.
We visited Winipegg back in 2005 when we were thinking about moving to Canada - we liked the Forks Area but the winters frightened us off!

My application only took 3 weeks to be approved. It took that long because I had lab work issues they wanted clarification on. Otherwise I'm sure it would have been much quicker. Aug 13...you'd better hop to it. That's just around the corner. Our winters are enough to turn anyone off! And that's one reason why I'm :exit!
