Hello, just wondering if any ex UK nurses transferred their NHS pension to New Zealand or did you leave it in the UK?

I intend to do the same at least if will be frozen based on final salry as the new scheme will not be that way it will depend on age etc but it is indexed linked etc

I was thinking of leaving mine in the UK as it's such a great scheme and we may come back in a few years if it doesn't work out.

Thanks for posting this as I've recently been wondering what to do with mine too. I've accrued quite a few years in the NHS scheme, and I'm not in a position to say that we won't want to go back at some point in the future, so for those reasons I think I'll probably leave mine there too. But I've been dreadfully lazy about reading all the terms and stuff.......I suppose I really should look at it all properly.
