Went in to get the rest of my medical filled out (still need some followup x-rays in a few weeks) and the doctor didn't really have anything to say on the summary discussion form. (On my OH's he just wrote 'Healthy'!)
Will this be a problem?
Should I bother the doctor to write more?
I just worry as my BMI is high (though I'm healthy otherwise and the doctor isn't concerned at all).
Should I get some documents from my doctors office in case I need to prove how much weight I've lost should I need to apply for a waiver?

How high is your BMI? If you are below 35 you should be OK. :yes If you are above 40, then expect requests for extra tests and delays in your processing; namely your paperwork will get sent to the NZ Medical Assessors :( which from what I see can take anywhere from 3 - 6 weeks to get a response from them. Also, do you have documented proof like from a physical trainer from what you did weight vs. what you weight now? Having that can help for sure.
I wish you well as I see you already have your flights booked! Let me guess, you like gambling right? :uhoh So you have an ACE up your sleeve eh? ;) Good luck with it all....
cheers,
John

Over 40. It doesn't help I'm short. :(
I'll try and get documentation from my doctor about how much weight I lost (60lbs) as I didn't use a trainer and that is the only record I have other than me writing on my calendar...

After all the time it takes for those docs to fill out the lengthy forms(I don't know about docs in the UK, but when American docs typically spend 7 minutes with each patient and we bring those forms in...), when they get to the summary comments at the end "Healthy" suffices or in the absence of that, all the information NZIS seems to need is in the multiple pages of checkboxes.
