hello colin
i visited a website not too long ago, about dunedin life:
www.CityofDunedin.com and www.WorkOtagoNZ.co.nz
I sent out for their free cd "Are You Ready for Dunedin life?" and they promptly sent it, me being here in the Philippines, I was pleasantly surprised.
This could introduce you to Dunedin, but of course it doesn't compare to what those who have actually lived there can tell you. Just a kick off.
WOuld like to go there too, although for a tropical girl like me the weather seems awfully cold! (can go as low as 0 degrees and highest is 20?)
Last week i think the news said there was flash flooding there, but that's all i know. weird weather actually nz is having this time of year.
hope this helps.
good luck! Hope to meet you there soon!

Congrats! That is great about the job.
Try:

I just read something about rental housing being cheaper now than ever in Dunedin. It's a very student-oriented city. Sounds pretty neat to me.

Hi
We have lived in Dunedin since coming out from Uk in April 2004.
Send me a PM with what sort of things you want to know about the area etc.
Good news about the job!
Cheers
