Hi y'all

How come when I have entered everything that is asterisked on the Principal Recognised Qualifications section, the summary says that the section is incomplete. I thought maybe it's because I put my qual as preliminary assessment (can you submit EOI with prelim assess.) so I changed it to full but the summary still tells me the section is incomplete.

What am I missing - help

Sandra

HI Sandra

I did our EOI a few weeks back now so can't remember exactly what I did, but I know that I put my qualifications as Prelim assessed and then I had to enter the assesment number and what level the assesment had returned my qualifications to be at?

Sorry if I am not much help

Good Luck :hopeso

I had a few hic-ups with this too, I'd missed a couple of drop down menu options...maybe its that?

Just worked out what it was - you think you've got to the end of the recognised quals bit where you either say yes/no to work experience in NZ - there was no next button so went back to the summary. I've been through it 10 times at least. Then I noticed just the tiny edge of a next button on my screen the button itself wasn't visible and clicked on it and there was the missing page.

But you won't believe this, there are problems on the NZIS website - I submitted the app entered my credit card details and was redirected to the Westpac site, the payment was authorised and then it said I would be redirected to the NZIS site. It must have been at this point that the website went down and now under the payment on the EOI it shows error. I can't believe it. I called them and they said it's likely that my EOI won't be in the pool in time now, I have to e-mail Wellington about the problem. It's not my problem, it's theirs.

If the points go above 105 now I will be so sick. Just feeling totally depressed. :? :(

Hi Sandra,

I feel sorry for you. And yes, it's their problem and they should not penalize you for it :no .

Had the exact same problem - a "Payment Error" when I submitted my EOI on the Monday of the selection week. It was two days of nail-biting before it was finally resolved. The error went away only on Wednesday morning. Fortunately for me at least, I got selected that week.

I hope everything works out for you in the end.

I guess the lesson learnt from both our experiences is to submit the EOI at least 2 - 3 days before the selection.

If I had waited until now would have been Ok - the website is working again. Maybe they do this on purpose to keep the numbers down :wah

Just got this message

We have detected your payment is in a status of Payment Error. This occurs when the communication between the credit card payment system and our site has failed.

During our reconcilation process we check with our bank to determine if payment has been received. If so your payment status will be progressed to Payment Received, alternatively if your payment is not with our bank your payment status will be reset to Payment Pending.

Please note in some circumstances it may take up to 2 days for this checking to be completed with our bank.

I think I've missed the boat now. :no :( :no :( :? Well I guess it wasn't meant to be. I am thoroughly p***ed off.

hugs sandra...
check your credit card company if you were debited already... if you are, ask them for a print out and send it to NZIS, it might speed up the process.

Thanks for the suggestion Jes

But the problem was that I missed the selection time (I think) unless they sort it out and then tell me I'm selected. But UK NZIS said I wouldn't be selected, so I don't know.

Just keep your :hopeso that points don't go over 105 in next 2 weeks.
