Ive watched him and love it, and love big cats. Ive seen soething on you tube about a girl that was mauled by his young white male lion. But then Lions are lions at the end of the day - Id still love to go - do you know where his park is?

It's in Northland. I was desperate to go on our recent recce but bad money and time concious hubby would not budge :wah
Didn't hear about that girl, that's not good but as you say lions are lions.

My fiance sent series 1 dvd to my daughter last year & then brought the series 2 with him when he came over for xmas. She loves watching them & so do I.
She's told me that when we move to NZ & she's older she's going to work for Craig Busch :laugh She's only 9 years old at the moment, so we've got a bit of time before that happens.
But seriously we would love to go to Zion Wildlife Park.

I was thinking about going, but I've heard rumours about the place and I want to do more research before going first.
Any one heard any feedback (aside from the TV show of the place) either positive or negative?

I heard a rumour that he had beaten his wife/girlfriend/partner. Came out, apparently, about the same time the Tony Veitch affair did so it never got any headlines.
No idea whether it's true or not, and has little to do with the park itself I suppose.

Awww so cute. I'm going to do the cub experience tour when we get there :D.

Was wondering if there was a reason she was in series 1 but no mention in 2....
Always felt a bit sorry for her it was pretty obvious she was a far second to the big cats. One episode they went for dinner and he rushed home because a tiger had vomited!! Their first night out in 18 months!
The worst was watching him trying to "encourage" two tigers to mate. It ended with him crooning "OOOhhh do you like that" can't look at him the same way anymore ;)

I have reservations about his "training" methods & the type of message he puts across.

I can't seem to get any information on his training methods. I'm having trouble downloading the 60 minute show as don't have a New Zealand i.p. address.
Does anyone have any links to it?

Well my fiance told me that he'd heard that Craig Busch had caught his wife with another couple (if you get my drift)
I was watching the 2nd series the other morning & one day his wife & the assistant were there playing mother to the two new cubs, then the next day the narrator announces that the wife & assistant have gone due to a disagreement! I'm thinking could the assistant be the wife from the other couple? :D
Just my personal theory :D
