Graham - the title of your post made me laugh! :laugh

Don't worry because I feel stupid too  - everyone seems to be able to post all these whizzy pics & I want to put a pic of our rental house on here but can't so I'd appreciate to know too...

Let's form our own club for amateur posters...!

Anyone else out there want to join??

PS Or could put us out of our misery?

Thanks for that Wilson, but still can't get it to work.
What have I missed out...?

Opened an account in Photobucket.

Entered a couple of pictures.
Got the URL address and pasted it into the post in between

But doesn't show the picture within the post. All it shows is the web address as a link, which opens up the picture when clicked.

Grrrrrrrrrr....!!

Did you post the URL of the picture, (underneath the photo in the album) or the photobucket web site. (I apologise sincerely if this question is insulting in anyway)

Post what you're doing so we can see what's wrong. :nice1

The address next to the URL label under the picture.
i.e.

Is this correct?

Wha-hey!! Done it at last. Apologies to anyone following this tedious thread.

I will now formally close down the TPS (Thick Posters' Society)

PS Whilst everyone is in a helpful mood, how do you do that 'quote' thing to take sections of someone else's posting??

Vancouver-see the 'skiing' thread. I wanted to add a pic on it.

Thanks for the lesson-I'm a teacher, so it's a bit different being the pupil for the evening!

Either click on this link: http://www.emigratenz.org/forums/templates/subSilver/images/lang_english/icon_quote.gif

OR

Copy and paste what you want to quote in between the {quote} and {/quote} tags. Don't actually use the {} brackets though, use the [] ones.

Another 'trick':

To turn a link into a word, just do this:

url of link goes here[/b]]Word goes here ([b)

You can underline the word to make the link more noticeable by adding the underline tags {u} and {/u} around the word. Again, don't actually use the {} brackets though, use the [] ones. :cool
