Forgive me for being thick, but I have a Panasonic surround sound system that I had doctored to make it multi Region, it was quite expensive and I was hoping to take it with me.....Basically does anyone know if it will work ???
And if there are any other Issues regarding electrical goods.....

From what I understand and have read, everything and anything from the uk will work fine apart from some older tv's as both countries operate on the same voltages and frequency. the only difference is the plug tops kiwis use over there. Take plenty of 4 gang multi-blocks with you, saves money on replacing lots of plugs.

Our tv's and my daughters play station work fine. We brought our English DVD player, and found that a few of the DVS's over here are region 2 and 4, so you can play them on the English. We bought a basic kiwi DVD player for $89 from Dick Smith, and hubby linked it to the UK one, so we can get surround sound from both :nice1
