Morning all

We had the pleasure of receiving our ITA last week, closely followed by OH's job offer at Chch Hospital.

Question is... do we still need to update our EOI with regards OH's job offer?

(We appreciate OH's job offer will be included with the submission of our ITA) :nice1

I'm no expert, but I would think since you already got the ITA it is not necessary. Isn't the whole purpose of the EOI just to get an ITA anyway?

Unless of course if one considers the fact the job offer will help to speed up the process to get the ITA processed, and maybe the sooner your case officer knows you have a job offer the sooner they can upgrade the priority level of your application. I'd let them know just to be sure.

I think you have to fax it over the proof to your CO as well

I would contact your CO to see what the right course of action is. But it would be worth including it as this will defintely speed things up. Ours was approved within a week - mainly because we had a job offer.

I wouldn't expect you to update your EOI as well as your ITA.

It clearly states with your ITA that you can add / amend any of the details on the ITA - It doesn't say that you must also go back and edit the EOI.

AFAIK, the ITA takes over from the EOI once sent out to you.

I would still discuss the job offer with the CO to make sure that it isn't missed.

... yep, spotted the bold paragraph which states to include any job offers with our ITA.
