Hi all
has anyone come across this and found it useful?
http://www.arriveandthrive.com/nz/index.htm
I'd certainly like to thrive (I'd also like to arrive ;) but is it worth $32?
Thanks!

I've never seen it but looking at the sample page you would get all that info on here, I think we've all managed OK without it but I suppose it may give you some information that you would either have to search for on here/ask again or you would find out for yourself after a while
I wouldn't bother but then I am a surfer & will Google something if I need to know it most of the time or ask everyone on here
my opinion would be save the money for a bottle of bubbly when you arrive instead :cheers

It strikes me as one of those "but wait! There's more!" commercials.
Not sure what relevance the advantages of a New Zealand passport have to brand new immigrations either!

Yeah, I figured...usually these things are more hype than substance.
Thought I'd check though -who doesn't want to thrive? ;-)
Thanks!

I've already bought 2 books about Auckland, where to live in auckland (popular), and another which tells you all about the demographics of certain areas, where people live etc etc. They are great pick-up books.
I would think of it like this, for $32 you may find a tiny snippet of information you would not have found by random searching that saves you a day, week or gives you back the $32 you paid. If your very through you will likely pick up all it says yourself, or if you search on many of the chapter titles for example.
