Just a quick question. Same old same old, probably on the forum somewhere, but...
Our PR application was submitted and its noted on the website as being registered on 16 July. How long will they keep all our papers, passport, birth cert, quals etc? (135 points, no job offer yet).
We want to organise a weekend away with the in-laws (to show them how easy it is to fly etc etc) and cant get that done till we get our passports back. (They are in their mid-late sixties and applying for a passport has been a nightmare for them, they've to go for an interview soon, and MIL says she feels like she's being treated like a criminal - huge list of things you must and must not do, eg arrive 10 mins early, head up when entering interview, head up at all times during interview, eh? They'll be shining a lamp in her face next, poor woman!)
I'm also a bit jittery about ALL our certs being away at once....
OH has 2 job applications on the go the noo, so hopefully something good will come out of that, not exactly where we want to be, but it would be a start!
Thanks as always
Mrs Granite
