Arrived yesterday afternoon, the weather was particularly great! Nice and cool, (coming from Manila, I just dig cold weather) I took a nice long walk around Lambton Quay and the Bay area this morning, it was simply breath taking. I do firmly believe that we really made the right choice of moving here!

Kids and OH still have jet lag, and I'm pretty happy that the place we are in has free broadband i-net. At least I can stay in touch with you guys and help others in the forum make the big decision.

Where are you staying while in Wellington? We just got our Approval and now have to book a stay for a few weeks to find a place to live. Right now we're thinking we'll hit up the trekkers (we're 2 30 year olds with little baggage)

Thank you all, I sincerely think that I couldn't have done this move without the forum's help. As of the moment, I'm still in Central Wellington, in the area of Johnston St. Lucky for us we were able to find a rental house up in Khandallah. So I will be busy for the coming week... (getting heaters and internet installed... fitting the house... IRD reqs...etc.) But if ever I'm in the area, I would sure not mind a "cuppa" :cheers
