Liz - unless you've already done so, do a search maybe just using likely words such as 'medical' and/or 'specialist', 'consultant', 'condition', etc..
I'm pretty sure that folks have got PR who have medical conditions (underactive thyroid and moderate(?) psoriasis are two I seem to recall right now), even though NZIS sometimes asks for further clarification from your doctor or a specialist. One of the main consideration, I think, is the financial burden you are likely to put on NZ's health/welfare/education systems... but don't forget that many medical conditions can be treated by fairly inexpensive drugs or devices.

Again, sorry if you already know this, but medical rules that will come into force on April 4th this year seem more detailed and perhaps more stringent. So, if applicable, try to get your ITA in before that date.

There are several people here who know this area far better than I...wait for their replies and PMs! :nice1

One thing we seem to be learning is that each case is different, so just get a good team and information on your side and go for it!

Cheers,
Matt.
