Hi all.

Been planning a move to NZ for about 6 months now.
Planning to go to Christchurch in January on a WHV and teach there for a year. Applied for the NZQA stuff and next week the funds go into my bank account to pay for the flight.
If I like it as much as I think I will then I'll apply for PR while I'm there. My main motivation is for extreme sports like whitewater kayaking and mountainboarding, which both require mountains, something extremely lacking in the UK.

Best of luck with the plans. I'm originally from Reading and a Teacher!!! Now in Wanaka - a place with mountains and good kayaking plus skiing on the doorstep!!!! NZ has plenty of wonderful places that will enable you to do your chosen activities.

Wahoo, got my NZQA back, got a job offer at a college in Mount Maunganui and am flying out on the 6th January. Need to go and sort my work permit out and I'm done.
