Yay Yay Yay,

Cant say much yet but it seems that going through some channels has worked. As some of you might recall - my EOI was declined on the basis of unsustainability of the job offer. A person high up in the chain has decided that there are no issues and that the ITA needs to be issued.

My ITA will be approved and my work visa sorted so that I can start work ASAP.

I am so relieved - been a stressful ride.

Thanks! Cant believe this is true - had so many dissapointments along the way.

Just to be clear - we will be Invited to Apply - its not automatically approved. The work visa will be granted under instruction - so that should be good to go in the next short while.

Thanks all. Trying to get info from my migration agent on what timing will be attached to all of this.

Hope to be landing in Auckland in the 2nd week of September, perhaps the next week latest.

Argh! Still have no word regarding my visa and my head is not in a good place. Concerned that the visa might still be declined - not sure - argh - need to see my passport back in my hand with a visa, then still apply for the family visas to go.

My dates of flying on the 10th are seeming a bit wishful at this stage.

Just got word - my work visa has been approved and is waiting for collection from London. Insert many bananas here

The family visas should take around a week - so it seems we are delayed by roughly a week in this last bit of timing. So hope to be flying around the 16th or 17th of September.
