We have applied for PR, but I have been declined because of my BMI, is it possible to remove me from the application, and for my OH and son to be granted PR and I reply next year.

I would have thought this depended on whether or not you are the primary applicant, Kags. If you OH is able to make the points without you it might be possible. Best to have a word with your case officer.

Hi my OH is the main applicant. We asked our CO if this was possible before we applied for medical wavier, and was told that it was possible. (I have just got a feeling they will say no now)

(I have just got a feeling they will say no now)You must be feeling down at the whole situation, and this feeling is probably part of that. Can't see why they would say no, having TOLD you it was possible, as long as your OH has the necessary points. If it's the same CO, they'll remember the conversation.

I do admire your and your family's determination. All the best for things to come right for you. I have to tell you, you've inspired us to do things on the health front as of now, well before our application.

You keep that chin up!! you apply for that medical waiver and go from there! I don't see how they would let your OH in and then not you if you are together!

I think I read in the news last year of one partner allowed in but the other half denied for high BMI. Hope they were able to get together eventually. Best to you and yours, Kristina:nice1

Oh Kags I really feel for you, take inspiraton from Leccy-Lee and keep plugging away at it. If its meant to be, its meant to be and you'll find a way to get to NZ eventually.

Good luck
Anneliese
