Hello everyone!
Does anyone know a good site to find rental property in or around Queenstown? I am looking for unfurnished preferably and not farther than a 30 min drive from Queenstown.
I have tried to find some but only came up with a few properties.
Thanks.

Have a look on www.trademe.co.nz first, then if it's with an agent go directly to their website.
When are you looking at moving there ? At the moment it's ski season and probably not much to rent, another 2/3 months and it will have quietened down again.

I will be needing something around Queenstown mid Novemberish. I tried Trademe but not much going on there, probably like you said..."its ski season". I will try the agent search you mentioned. Thanks!

Try Locations real estate, they seem to handle a lot of rental property around the area. Now shouldn't be too bad a time to rent, there's certainly more property available in Wanaka now than 3-4 months ago. There's a local ad driven paper like the Upper Clutha Messenger which very often has private rentals in just for Queenstown but for the life of me I can't remember the name - I'm there on Saturday so I'll try and pick one up.
I'll keep an eye out in the free papers once they arrive this week too and post if I see anything interesting.

Another quick tip (probably heard it already :) ) is to keep in touch with the letting agents, you'll get to the stage where they'll hopefully think of you when a new rental comes on the market and give you first refusal :nice1

I haven't checked their websites but there must be 40 or 50 properties advertised in the paper. If you need more details, just let me know.

That sounds very nice, thanks...Wanaka does seem a bit too far for me though. Looking forward to see what you can find.
