Hi all

I hope everyone is on an interesting leg of their particular jouney!!

We have been "selected" from the pool some 5 weeks ago now, without a job offer but with 130 points.

We are from the UK so the application is in London. I was just wondering the following two pieces of information from others experiences.

1) Without a job offer, how long have people waited for their ITA?

2) How long did the process take from ITA submission to the magic blue stickers?

I'm trying to get a feel for how much longer we wil have to wait, although I know it can be up to 3 months ..

The waiting is killing me!!

I don't know if others can empathise, but for us - having made the decision to move to NZ we just want to get on with it. So far I haven't handed in my notce at work in case there's a snag, and the house hasn't sold.

We just want to move!!

we're all in the same boat! We just want to get over there! It's a long roller coaster & with out a job offer it takes longer...

With out a job it can take up to 4 months to hear something after you've been selected...

I think the wait is pretty much 2 months from EOI sucessful to ITA. However, I would use this time to prepare all of your documentation so that you can return the ITA asap!

You'll find a lot of people have put their particular time scales as a signature at the bottom of their posts. But for the record, here's our complete time frame of how things happened for us...

EOI submitted 05/11/07 with no job offer and 150 points.
EOI selected 07/11/07
ITA received 10/01/08
NZQA sent 17/03/08
NZQA returned 21/04/08
ITA submitted 09/05/08
Approved in principle 16/06/08
Sent passports 19/06/08
Blue stickers 19/07/08!!
Fly on 29th September...:raebanana

Our EOI was selected on 2nd July and we haven't heard anything further. The official line is 3 months so potentially we've still got another nail-biting month to go.
