Hi everyone,we finally decided that NZ is where we want to be-plans to leave in 2009.I've learned such a lot just browsing the forum (lots more questions),but need to ask:'Is their a guide for the abbreviations used in the forums?':roll

Hi and welcome! :cheers I have not found a guide for abbreviations but as I read more and more...I just figured them out. For the life of me I could not figure out OH because in the US we don't use that term...but later I realized it stands for your other half/spouse. If you post a thread asking help on some abbreviations, I am sure many nice members will kindly help you out.;)

haha... coming from the US I didn't know what that one was either! I think I got most of them figured out!
here are the ones i can think of...
DS= Dear Son
DD= Dear Daughter
SIL= Sister in Law
BIL= Brother in law
