I was trying to complete the online EOI when I pressed validate by accident and its now telling me I'm ineligble, mind you I haven't finished the form yet! So have I messed up or not? :?

Also, how do you get the "English" points to display? We're both British but it doesn't show any points! Is it because we ticked the "qualify via other means" or what ever it is? If the points don't show up will they bounce it on submission?

Has anyone done the forms themselves or do you use an agent?

Where do I find my taxation number? Am I thick or what :oops:

Further to my p.m. Haydn, read up on the NZ immigration notes, it will tell you where the points are awarded. And download the PDF version of the EOI form, that tells you where the points are allocated, and it gives you a bit of a better 'feel' to filling the form in, at least that's what I thought.

Hayden - firstly welcome to the forum!

Seconly - did you pay any money when you accidentally sent the EOI? If you didn't then you should be OK.

I'd certainly take StevieD's advice & read up on all the notes on how to claim the points to get them all up. If I remember rightly I spent 4 evenings doing our EOI to make sure everything was just right - the EOI turns into the ITA so its important to check & double check before you send it.

Ha ha I figured it out earlier. I have a mouse with a scroll wheel on it. As I'm sure you're all aware if you don't click off a drop down list and scroll down it changes the setting.
This is what happened :oops: and it changed the dialysis to "Yes", have now changed it back and hey presto we are now back to incomplete as opposed to ineligible.
