Hello all

Will be going to Aus and NZ next feb/march (can't wait) for a month, we hope to hire a camper. Anybody got any good surrgestions on companies, things to watch out for etc????

It's a great way to see the place. I'd always go for a camper two bigger than you need: if there are four of you get a six berth camper.

Some companies do some good deals if you pick up in Christchurch and deliver back to Auckland.

I'll throw in an opposite view to Myles above :) I'd steer clear of Pacific Horizon, our camper last year was horrible, couldn't hear your your passenger speak, shabby and tatty - the catches on the internal and external doors kept falling off! Not a patch on the newer funkier Maui's, Tui's etc. Maybe their fleet has just gone downhill?
