Just little impatient old me again.

We submitted our ITA two weeks ago, since then we have had our letter of acknowledgement, but nothing else. Our application was updated on 19 Feb to bump us up to 130 points, but the changes from our ITA have not been added.

Can anyone give me an idea of time scales. I thought we would have heard from NZIS about an interview by now.

One forum member did mention that there case officer was on holiday until 8th March. Could it be we have the same case officer, if so would it be possible to give me a clue as to who they are, I think we are not meant to discuss their actual names, but the inital of their first name would be enough.

Just concerned that everything is going to fall over at this late stage.

Hi Nicola

I obviously can't speak for everyone but when we submitted out ITA we had an email exactly one week after requesting an interview time, the interview the day after that and had PR granted the day after that so I am not sure what made ours so quick.

Perhaps as you are claiming more points it takes longer to check (just a thought).

Anyway I hope you hear soon.

Hi Lisa

Thanks for the reply.

We did not claim more points they added them in for us, I did not even realise that we were due more points.

:hopeso I will be checking the web site more often see if anything comes up there.

We were invited to apply on 25th November, submitted our application around 10th January, then it was a few weeks before NZIS contacted us. Don't fret, it won't be long. They wrote and asked us when a suitable interview time would be and it was fixed for a few days later.
Good Luck :cheers
